1. Who is responsible for your data

The controller of personal data on aiplatonas.org is Konstantinos Polymenopoulos, an individual developer and sole operator, Kastraki 5, Astros, 22001, Greece. Email: smartidioktisia@gmail.com.

2. What this website is

aiplatonas.org is a hub with two AI apps, Greek Philosophers and Commanders of the Past. A key is needed to use them. Keys are created by adults (18+) at TreasureIn. Any young learner who uses the apps must be supervised by an adult. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.

3. What we process

Key and credit records: your key, your account name (if you set one), your credit balances and how credit is used.
What you ask: the questions you type or speak are sent to an AI model to produce the answer. Please do not enter sensitive personal information.
Voices: the text of an answer is sent to ElevenLabs to be turned into speech.
Microphone: if you use the microphone button, your browser's own speech recognition turns your voice into text. That service is provided by your browser (for example Google in Chrome). We receive only the text, not a recording.
Technical data: IP address and browser information, recorded in standard server logs for security and operation.
Data stored in your browser: your session, key, account name, age setting and model choices, so you stay signed in and your choices are remembered. See the Cookies page.
Messages to us: if you write to us, we process your email address and message to reply.

4. Why we process it and on what basis

To provide the service you asked for (performance of a contract).
To keep records as required by Greek tax and accounting law (legal obligation).
To keep the service secure and prevent abuse, and to answer your messages (legitimate interests).

5. Who receives data

TreasureIn: the account and credit service where keys are created. Payments there are processed by Stripe.
Supabase: the backend that checks your key and passes your requests on.
AI model providers: your questions are sent to the model you choose in the app: Claude Sonnet 5 and Claude Haiku 4.5 (Anthropic), GPT-5.4 mini (OpenAI), Gemini 3.1 Pro (Google), Grok 4.6 (xAI), Qwen 3.8 Max (Alibaba) and DeepSeek V4.1 Flash (DeepSeek). If we change this list, we will update this page.
ElevenLabs: AI-generated voices.
Hosting and Google Fonts: receive your IP address when your browser loads the page or fonts.

Some of these providers are located outside the European Economic Area, so data may be transferred there. We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising.

6. How long we keep data

We keep account, credit and usage records while your key is in use and as long as tax and accounting law requires. Other data is kept only as long as needed for the purposes above.

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Details are on the Cookies page.

8. Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask us for access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, and you can object to processing. Write to smartidioktisia@gmail.com. You also have the right to complain to the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (dpa.gr) or to the authority in your own country.

9. Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the effective date above.
